Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Morristown NJ
Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide patient assessments and therapy services in a home care setting. The role focuses on improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive function while supporting patient independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess swallowing, speech, and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide therapy for communication and safe swallowing
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Perform discharge planning and case management
- Travel to patient homes for care delivery
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active New Jersey SLP License
- Minimum 1 year experience (acute, subacute, or home care)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
