Basic Requirements – Cath Lab Tech
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Experience in scrubbing routine cath procedures, peripheral, and stroke cases
EP lab experience preferred (ICD, Pacemakers, Ablations – A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib)
Experience with cardiac, peripheral, and neuro interventions
Ability to work in trauma level III acute care facility
Licensure / Certifications:
ARRT certification required
RCIS certification required
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS certification required
Skills:
Ability to scrub Cath Lab procedures and assist physicians during interventions
Experience with cardiac catheterizations, PCI, pacemaker insertions, and EP procedures
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation systems
Familiarity with pre-op and post-op patient care
Equipment / Systems:
Experience with Merge Hemodynamics system
Familiarity with MEDITECH charting system
Ability to float between Bryan and College Station campuses if required.
