New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking applications for our ACGME-Accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship for the upcoming academic year starting July 1st, 2027. This one-year training program offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary training at one of the nation's premier transplant centers.
Program Overview
Our fellowship provides intensive clinical and research training to prepare graduates for leadership roles in academic transplant nephrology. Fellows train within a high-volume center, working directly with world-renowned transplant nephrologists, surgeons, pathologists, and multidisciplinary care teams. The Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program does more than 250 transplants/year, including ABO incompatible and a crossmatch.
Benefits & Salary
- Competitive graduate staff salary at the NYP PGY-6 level. Current salary for 2026-2027 is $125,200.

Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
- Completion of a two-year ACGME-accredited Nephrology Fellowship before the program start date.
- Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
- Visa Support: Our institution only permits J-1 visas sponsored by the ECFMG for this position. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment-based visas.
