Northwell Health, the largest healthcare provider and private employer in the tri-state area, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Stroke Neurologist to join the highly specialized team at Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) in Riverhead, NY. This is a unique opportunity to practice at Eastern Long Island’s first and only Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, making a profound impact on acute stroke care for the region.

This rapid advancement in care has already been recognized with the American Heart Association’s highest stroke-care recognition, the Gold Plus award through its Get With The Guidelines-Stroke program – a testament to our dedicated multidisciplinary team’s immediate impact and unwavering commitment to cardiovascular and stroke care.
Joining Northwell Health: A Network of Excellence
As a Stroke Neurologist at PBMC, you will play a pivotal role in delivering life-saving care within our new, state-of-the-art Neuroscience Center. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, to provide timely diagnosis and advanced treatment for acute stroke patients. Compensation & Benefits
