A Rewarding Role Awaits:
Make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of Torres and Cape communities while delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate care within a dedicated rural healthcare team. Working within a Rural Generalist model, you will provide care across inpatient, emergency and primary healthcare settings in Cooktown and surrounding communities, including Hope Vale, Wujal Wujal and Laura.
We welcome experience in rural medicine across hospital and primary care settings, with advanced skills or training in Anaesthetics, Obstetrics, Paediatrics or Mental Health. The role requires strong emergency care skills, effective multidisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to improving health outcomes.
