Description
University of Rochester Medicine is seeking a Section Head of Abdominal Imaging to lead a growing team of 14 faculty members supported by licensed professional extenders and a dedicated radiology communication center within our nationally recognized Department of Imaging Sciences.
Highlights
No overnight coverage required – provided by a separate emergency radiology division
Dedicated one day per week of protected academic time, plus an additional leadership day every two weeks.
Professional mentorship under Dr. Jennifer Harvey and a leadership incentive of up to $30,000.
Join a department of approximately 145 radiologists performing nearly 1.3 million imaging studies annually.
Abdominal imaging faculty perform CT/MRI/US/Abdominal Fluoroscopy, and PET/CT with internal sub-specialization.
Opportunities for clinical, translational, and collaborative research, with multiple academic promotion pathways.
