Orthopedic Surgeon
Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians — Atlanta, GA
Full-Time | On-Site
Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic. PSP has been physician led since 2003 and has grown to nine locations across the Atlanta metro, treating spine, orthopedic, and sports medicine conditions through conservative management, physical therapy, imaging, and interventional procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care and work closely with a team of physiatrists and physical therapists
See patients in clinic, perform procedures/surgeries, and follow patients through recovery
Maintain a regular clinic schedule across PSP locations and treat patients nonoperatively when surgery isn't the right call or transfer to physiatry colleague
Work with our physiatrists and PT team to set surgical criteria, pre-op workups, and post-op protocols
Provide consultation on surgical questions from providers across the practice
Track patient outcomes and keep Epic documentation current and complete
Build relationships with referring physicians and community partners
Job Requirements:
MD with completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Active Georgia medical license in good standing (or eligible), current DEA registration
Eligible for medical staff privileges at Atlanta area facilities and ambulatory surgery centers
Comfort with EHR documentation workflows, Epic experience is a plus
BLS and ACLS certification

Requirements
