- Minimally Invasive General Surgeon
Description
The Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Cooper University Hospital is recruiting for a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon with Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. The candidate will be able to qualify for faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Surgery at/or above at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. The candidate should be eligible for CAQH certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in laparoscopic and robotic surgery (including the da Vinci Surgical System), teaching and clinical research. The selected surgeon will provide comprehensive general surgical care using advanced laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and other minimally invasive techniques. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong skill set in minimally invasive abdominal wall reconstruction. The surgeon will also perform broad range of open and conventional general surgery procedures beyond minimally invasive techniques. The selected surgeon will function as a member of the teaching faculty at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, training residents in the Cooper General Surgery Residency program as well as teaching medical students.
