Medical oncologist- SASH Western Sydney
The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest privately owned network of Specialist hospitals in the country. Offering a truly collaborative environment, you will work in a growing multidisciplinary setting, whilst having the opportunity to draw on the knowledge and experience from the wider network of SASH specialists, assisting you to achieve the best results for your patients. The Western Sydney hospitals' services include internal medicine, 24 hour emergency and critical care, radiology, oncology, ophthalmology, surgery with sports medicine & physiotherapy and dermatology. You will have access to an intensive care unit, full service in-house lab and endoscopy, with a large dedicated Oncology room. You will work with our full-time, on-site radiology team and radiographer who will assist with your ultrasound, CT, MRI and X-ray needs. With our new network-wide PACs system, you will have access to same-day reporting on any imaging performed for your patients.

Our Oncology Position:
We are seeking a second enthusiastic Medical Oncology Specialist to join Dr Johanna Todd in our established Western Sydney service. You will be supporting our highly committed clientele using empathy, compassion and best practice to deliver gold standard care. You will be supported by a team of Medical Oncologists, highly skilled nursing and client services teams, with our Radiation Oncology team down the road at North Ryde. The position is a full-time, permanent role across a 4-day week based in our Western Sydney team. We would also consider a part-time opportunity for the right person. If you are relocating to Australia but not sure about a long term move, we are open to considering 6-12 month locums as well!
Requirements
About you:

- Be eligible to register as a veterinarian in Australia
- Be qualified as a specialist in Medical Oncology Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM, ECVIM)
- Candidates who have completed an approved training program, but are yet to finalise exams, are also strongly encouraged to apply! Our Oncology team would love to help you prepare in the lead up to your exams!
