Practice & Cases

• Inpatient Level III facility with adult patient population
• Average 1 to 3 cases or admissions per day
• Cases include open heart, carotid, and some thoracic procedures
• PA support handles initial consults and vein harvesting

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage during assigned blocks
• Long weekend coverage typically Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Sunday
• 3 to 4 day blocks per assignment
• Ongoing PRN-style scheduling into future coverage cycles

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required
• Open to physicians needing Maryland licensure
