Locums Cardiology in Lakeport, California - Light Call, Locums To Perm

A critical access hospital setting with a non invasive cardiology focus and minimal call burden. This role blends inpatient rounding with outpatient care in a lower volume environment.

Practice & Cases

• Critical access hospital with adult and geriatric patients
• Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic mix
• Management of heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension
• ECHO reads, TEE, and pacemaker oversight without implants

Schedule

• Weekday schedule with 8 hour daytime shifts
• 2 to 3 weeks per month coverage blocks
• Combination of clinic visits and inpatient rounding
• Call handled primarily by phone with rare return onsite

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active California license or willingness to obtain
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
