Locums Cardiology Physician Assistant in Ohio - Weekday Schedule

This Cardiology APP assignment blends outpatient clinic work with light inpatient consult coverage in a collaborative hospital-based setting. The team is seeking experienced providers for maternity leave coverage later this year.

Highlights

• Primarily outpatient Cardiology responsibilities
• Independent practice with physician collaboration available
• Up to 12 patients per day
• Coverage needed for an 8-12 week assignment

Practice & Cases

• Adult Cardiology patient population
• Some inpatient consult coverage with no clinic duties on consult days
• Team includes interventional cardiologists, electrophysiology, and APP support
• Non-procedural Cardiology care

Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Daytime hours only
• Minimum commitment of 5 consecutive days
• Preference for longer continuous coverage blocks

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant
• Active Ohio license required at presentation
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cardiology experience preferred

Logistics

• Travel accommodations available for qualifying providers
• Lodging support offered based on assignment needs
