Practice Highlights
Join a collaborative cardiovascular team at a 476-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Work alongside interventional and general cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and dedicated APPs, with 24/7 specialty support across multiple disciplines.
Your practice will include diagnostic catheterization, PCI, STEMI intervention, high-risk PCI with immediate CT surgery backup, device implantation, and structural heart procedures, including TAVR and Watchman. While the practice is primarily high-volume coronary intervention today, leadership is actively investing in expanding structural heart services, creating an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in helping grow the program.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time schedule with approximately 3-4 clinic days per week
- Remaining time dedicated to cath lab, procedures, and administrative responsibilities
- Weekend call: 1:4
- Weeknight call (Mon-Thu): 1:3
- STEMI call differential
- Guaranteed first-year salary before transitioning to a productivity-based compensation model - Current providers earning up to 28k wRVUs which is 35% above the 90th percentile showcasing incredible earning potential
- Malpractice with tail coverage, 401(k), deferred compensation, and comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Experienced physicians preferred; strong graduating fellows encouraged to apply
- Interest in structural heart is welcomed
- NOT able to sponsor visa candidates at this time
