Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Dallas / Duncanville / Mansfield / surrounding DFW area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $TBD based on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular practice. The physician will diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease using catheter-based procedures and provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disease.
Perform coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
Conduct structural cardiology interventions (depending on practice scope).
Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, ECGs, and cardiac imaging studies.
Participate in hospital call coverage.
Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, and primary care physicians.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Clinical
Outpatient clinic 2–4 days per week.
Cath lab procedures several days per week.
Hospital rounding and consultations.
Shared call schedule.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
MD degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of:
Internal Medicine Residency
Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
Ideally would be RPVI and Coronary CTA accredited
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Must hold a Texas medical license.
DEA registration.
Preferred:
Experience with peripheral vascular interventions and/or structural heart experience (TAVR, MitraClip, etc.).
Experience in a high-volume cath lab environment.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
