Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our highly respected surgical team in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida. As a member of Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute, you will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional surgical care across a broad spectrum of general surgery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a busy practice while working alongside experienced surgeons and specialists in a growing regional health system.

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in upper GI and abdominal wall surgery, including hernia repair and esophageal/gastric procedures strongly preferred.
• Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery is highly desirable.
• Fellowship training is welcomed but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to multidisciplinary, team-based care.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered surgical care.

Practice Focus & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general surgical care within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Perform minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, pathology, advanced practice providers, and other specialties to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient surgical care and contribute to the continued growth of the surgical program.
