LifeBridge Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon with expertise and interest in minimally invasive surgery to join our growing surgical team serving Northwest Hospital and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking to build a broad general and minimally invasive surgery practice within a collaborative, well-supported health system. The position will include operative responsibilities at both Sinai and Northwest Hospitals, along with the opportunity to develop a community-based outpatient practice supported by LifeBridge Health’s extensive referral network.
The successful candidate will perform a broad mix of general surgery cases, including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, cancer surgery, and endoscopic procedures, with access to leading-edge technology, dedicated OR resources, and multidisciplinary specialty support.
The Opportunity
- Full-time, employed position in Baltimore, Maryland
- General and minimally invasive surgery at Sinai Hospital and Northwest Hospital
- Opportunity to establish and grow a community-based outpatient practice
- Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- Access to da Vinci robotic technology at all hospitals
- No trauma call
- Resident Service support (during the day/weekend days at Northwest, 24/7 at Sinai)
- Nocturnal Surgical PA-C support at Northwest
- Strong multidisciplinary and subspecialty collaboration
- Large and growing LifeBridge Health referral network

About Sinai Hospital of Baltimore
Located in Northwest Baltimore, Sinai Hospital is a 500-bed acute care teaching hospital and Maryland’s third-largest teaching institution. Sinai is part of LifeBridge Health, a growing healthcare system serving more than one million patients annually across Maryland.
Sinai offers a dynamic academic and clinical environment with a General Surgery Residency Program comprising 24 residents in a 5+1-year program. The Department of Surgery includes 12 divisions and nearly 200 surgeons and APPs, creating a broad network of surgical expertise and opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and teaching.
Sinai also partners with The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences as a Regional Medical Campus, hosting third- and fourth-year medical students and further expanding the hospital’s academic mission. All surgeons in the Department of Surgery have academic appointments at GWU.
Surgeons have access to the Sinai Cancer Center, supporting comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care and collaboration across surgical and medical specialties.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary of $300,000 to $500,000 based on experience, plus production incentive

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Training and/or experience in minimally invasive surgery preferred
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to successfully obtain a Maryland Medical License, CDS, and DEA licenses
