National and regional recognition of our hospitals by U.S. News & World Report is a reflection of our talent and commitment to advanced quality care that is safe and compassionate.Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join our outstanding Breast Surgery care program in the Greater Austin Region at our Baylor Scott and White Austin Oak Hill and Round Rock Clinics . We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Possession or eligibility to obtain a TX Medical License
• Passion for establishing collaborative, trusting relationships with referral sources and peers in a multidisciplinary clinic setting.
• At least 5 years of experience preferred
Additional Highlights:
• Growing breast surgery program with established volume
• No general surgery call required for this position
• Advanced breast imaging
• The two clinic locations are located in medical office buildings on the hospital campus
• Fully integrated system utilizing Epic EMR
Our Breast Team provides the continuum of breast care, including diagnosis, cancer treatment, and high-risk management. Multidisciplinary care is planned and provided in our cancer center supported by a Breast Oncology Leadership Team, as well as bi-weekly Breast Tumor Board. Our program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty or demonstrate certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
