Position Responsibilities:
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
- Perform breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies
- Interpret breast MRI and perform MRI-guided breast biopsies
- Serve as the lead interpreting physician for breast imaging services, with responsibility for oversight of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation of the mammography facility
- Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board conferences in collaboration with surgical, medical, and radiation oncology colleagues
- Support the implementation and growth of advanced breast imaging services, including contrast-enhanced mammography
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative partners to support program growth and operational excellence
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- MD or equivalent
- Board certified or board eligible Radiologist
- Eligible for licensure in the State of North Carolina
- MQSA certification
- Experience with breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI-guided
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent clinical experience
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Interest or experience in clinical program development in a community-based setting
