Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 / year
Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee!
Both full-time and part-time Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian candidates will be considered.
Benefits:
- $200k-$250k base salary (negotiable) + production

- CE allowance: $5,000 a year and 4 additional days of PTO
- We pay 100% of AVMA PLIT, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and state licensure fees

Our ideal candidate:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian
- Passionate about practicing outstanding medicine but also working as a cohesive team
- Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

- A team of board-certified surgeons and specialists that practice collaborative medicine between all departments to provide patient's comprehensive care
- Seven board-certified specialists, including surgeons, oncologists, internists, a criticalist, and an anesthesiologist, along with highly trained emergency veterinarians and veterinary interns.
- The latest specialized surgery and diagnostic instrumentation and equipment including 16-slice CT scanner, Vivid iQ echocardiogram platform, digital radiology, ultrasound systems, fluoroscopy unity, endoscopy, high-def Storz tower with new laparoscopic equipment, Arthrex equipment, LigaSure, Autocon III, Storz Ho-YAG laser, Synthes locking plates, and ESF equipment.
- Intensive Care Unit that is staffed 24 hours a day so that your patient is carefully monitored post-operatively
