Company History

The hospital was orignally founded in 1975 by a group of general practionners who wanted the ability to offer 24-hour care. Although none could support such a hospital individually, together they were able to provide enough business to get the project off the ground. Those veterinarians used the hospital to see their patients on emergency in addition to using the facilities to perform all their surguries and provide all their x-ray needs. The hospital began seeing patients on emergency as a by-product, but that referral aspect continued to grow significantly. The referrals continued to grow as specialists were added.
