Orthopedic & Spine Centers of Wisconsin, SC (“OSCW”) is seeking a highly qualified spine surgeon who wishes to be part of a dynamic and integrated team dedicated to delivering the best musculoskeletal healthcare in Madison, WI and surrounding communities. Candidates would be partnering with Dr. Jason Sansone, a practicing orthopedic spine surgeon, and replacing Dr. Thomas Zdeblick after his retirement in Spring 2027. The ideal candidates will have a demonstrated track record of excellence in clinical care, integration with clinical quality standards, and fostering a high level of teamwork with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and other imaging modalities to identify spinal disorders.
Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients, including surgical and non-surgical options.
Conduct advanced surgical techniques, including decompression, fusion, and disc replacement.
Monitor patients' recovery and manage postoperative complications.
Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient recovery.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in spinal surgery and interventional techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical regulations, and quality standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
Completion of a Spine Surgery fellowship
Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
