Ventura County Surgical Associates is looking to welcome a new full time colorectal surgeon to join the team. You will be working with a group of 10 motivated general surgeons and one other colorectal surgeon who is in his prime. The group covers three hospitals in Ventura County which is 45 minutes north of Los Angeles and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. The job entails caring for the underserved county patients at Ventura County Medical Center with a broad range of pathology including colorectal cancer, IBD, diverticulitis and anorectal problems. You will also have the opportunity to share general surgery and trauma call pool with the other members of the group. Another opportunity involves working with surgical residents at the private Community Memorial Hospital across the street and bringing your expertise to that hospital as well. The VCSA group consists of many highly qualified and fellowship trained surgeons who not only take great care of patients but also each other. We all value time outside of the hospital and spending time with our families. We also enjoy the many activities the central coast of California has to offer.
