Description
East Bay Cardiac Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our excellent Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Currently with two surgeons (and a third to start in the fall) and two full time PAs.
Candidates for this position must have at least 1 year of experience in cardiac surgery and proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting. Responsibilities include surgical assisting in both cardiac and thoracic surgeries, EVH, inpatient and outpatient management and surgical call coverage.
Coverage includes M-F with rotating weekends and holidays. Call for emergent surgeries only. No in-house call. 1:3 Weekend call with rounding. Generous benefits, PTO, salary commensurate with experience, and CME allowance.
