BJC Medical Group is seeking a Cardiology Medical Director to help shape the future of a growing cardiovascular program at Memorial Hospital Belleville and Shiloh, located in the St. Louis metro area.
This leadership opportunity is ideal for an Interventional or Non-Invasive Cardiologist looking to influence program growth, clinical quality, and strategic direction while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Practice Setting
Established team of 8 Cardiologists and 3 APPs and growing
Dedicated Medical Assistant for each physician
APP support in both clinic and inpatient settings
Dedicated cardiology hospitalist support for inpatient management
Efficient workflows designed to maximize physician productivity
Strong collaboration across cardiac, vascular, and specialty care teams
Clinical Responsibilities & Schedule
Interventional Cardiologists
2–3 days in the Cath Lab
1–2 days in clinic
Dedicated procedural time with strong volume and referral support
Non-Invasive Cardiologists
Primarily outpatient-focused practice with large, growing primary care base; busy on day1!
Inpatient consultative support as needed
Opportunity to focus on diagnostics, imaging, and longitudinal cardiovascular care
Leadership Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for cardiology services
Partner with hospital administration, physicians, and care teams to enhance quality and performance
Support physician engagement and program growth initiatives
Lead efforts to improve patient outcomes and expand access to cardiovascular care

Competitive two-year guaranteed salary
$50,000 Sign-On Bonus
