About the Role

OUTPATIENT MEDICAL CODER
What You’ll Be Doing
Accurately code outpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
Review clinical documentation to assign correct diagnostic & procedural codes.
Coordinate with healthcare providers for documentation clarification and discrepancy resolution.
Maintain accurate records while adhering to coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
Submit reports on coding productivity and quality.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with coding updates and best practices.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in any medical-allied or allied health course.
Active and updated coding certification: CCS or COC.
At least 1 year of experience in Outpatient/SDS medical coding.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficient with coding software and EMR systems.

INPATIENT MEDICAL CODER
What You’ll Be Doing
Accurately code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
Review clinical documentation and assign appropriate diagnoses and procedures.
Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve documentation gaps or discrepancies.
Keep accurate coding records and follow all documentation and coding guidelines.
Provide regular performance and quality reports.
Participate in continuing education for coding updates and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in any medical-allied or allied health course.
Active and updated coding certification: CCS or CIC.
Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical coding experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Proficiency in coding applications and EMR platforms.
