Horne Rota Moos, LLP is a premier medical malpractice defense and civil litigation law firm founded in 2003. We are currently seeking an associate attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Candidates must have strong analytical, research, and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. This role is for a docket handling attorney who can handle all aspects of defense litigation from answer to jury verdict.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents
Reporting effectively, timely, and professionally to clients
Sending and responding to discovery, including coordination with clients to obtain relevant responsive documents and information
Conducting legal research on a variety of issues relevant to defense litigation
Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, site inspects, witness interviews, and mediations
Active participation in all aspects of litigation management
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in Texas with good standing
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Experience in Medical Malpractice preferred, but not required
