The practice receives referrals from the UPMC Kane health network which includes clinics in seven communities: Bradford, Johnsonburg, Kane, Mt. Jewett, Ridgway, Sheffield and Warren. Physicians perform surgery at UPMC Kane, which is a 14-bed critical access hospital.
Position Details:
Independent Role: Enjoy the autonomy of a solo practice with full hospital and administrative support.
Busy, Rewarding Schedule: Opportunity to grow practice, increasing procedures each month to around 80-100, with no OB responsibilities.
Bread & Butter Variety: Perform a wide range of general surgery cases including laparoscopies, lap choles, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more.
Streamlined Care: All admissions are handled directly at UPMC Kane for seamless coordination.
Regional Reach: Support neighboring communities through nearby regional clinic locations utilizing EPIC EMR.
Hands-On Environment: No robotic program-ideal for surgeons who value traditional, hands-on techniques and continuity of care.

Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school
Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
DEA certification
