The Executive & Academic Search team with Doximity Talent Solutions has partnered with Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the national search for the next Medical Director of Lung Transplant. This incoming leader will join MCW’s Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine reporting directly to the Division Chief, Julie Biller, MD as well as to the Service Line Director of Solid Organ Transplant, Matthew Cooper, MD.
MCW along with Froedtert Health have a successful Lung Transplant Program with a long history. This Medical Director will be a key leader to accelerate the impressive growth trajectory they have seen over the past year, while driving innovation and defining the strategic evolution of the program. We seek a successful academic Pulmonologist with a proven track record as a leader in Lung Transplant. MCW will look to you to sustain and refine the established lung transplant program. This includes fostering a cohesive team environment, optimizing foundational operational and clinical workflows, and expanding the program's footprint through expanded relationships in the market and increased recognition of the high-quality care delivered.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree with and ability to obtain Wisconsin license
Ability to join at the rank Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Medicine with MCW
Board Certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care
WORK EXPERIENCE
Prefer some level of leadership experience in academic medicine
5+ years of experience with Lung Transplant
Experience working, and leading, within a multidisciplinary team
