Shape the Future of Veterinary Oncology The Animal Cancer & Referral Center (ACRC) is expanding! We are seeking a Veterinary Radiation Oncologist (ACVR or ECVDI) to join our collaborative specialty team as we prepare to open our state-of-the-art 15,000 sq. ft. Animal Cancer Center in 2026, located in the heart of Houston’s WORLD RENOWNED Texas Medical Center.

As the only hospital in the Houston area exclusively dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in dogs and cats, ACRC offers a unique opportunity to design and lead a Radiation Oncology service within a supportive, independent, and innovation-driven specialty practice.

?? State-of-the-Art Facilities Our advanced facilities support precision radiation therapy and comprehensive, evidence-based diagnostics:

Linear Accelerator: TruBeam ( TBD)Â stereotactic linear accelerator with image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), MLC, IMRT, VMAT, and SRT/SBRT capabilities

Treatment Planning: Eclipse treatment planning system (customizable to your preference)
Â
On-Board Imaging: kV and MV imaging, cone-beam CT, and portal dosimetry
Â
128-slice CT scanner for simulation and diagnostic imaging

Ultrasound with cardiac, abdominal, and Doppler capabilities

Digital radiography
Â
Point-of-care diagnostics: CBC, chemistry, blood gas, lactate, electrolytes, PT/aPTT, VCM

Multi-parameter monitors, and fluid therapy equipment

Blood products and in-house crossmatching

Dedicated pharmacy with compounding and controlled substance storage

Cryotherapy, electrochemotherapy, and lymph node mapping (NIRF)

Who We’re Looking For DVM or equivalent degree

Board-certified or Residency Trained in Radiation Oncology (ACVR or ECVDI)
