Description

A value-based care organization in Oregon is recruiting a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Regional Medical Director.

The role involves supporting the development of a new regional market, providing clinical oversight for patients with complex medical needs, and guiding a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners.

• The position combines medical director responsibilities with direct patient care.
• Travel is required along the I-5 corridor to support regional clinical operations.
• A minimum of five years of medical director experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Any experience in Geriatrics, home care, or house call settings is a bonus. Prior experience in geriatrics, home-based care, or house-call settings is considered an additional qualification.
• Competitive Base Salary, Full Benefits, PTO, CME time plus allowance, sign-on bonus/ relocation negotiable.

• Oregon spans coastal shoreline, forested mountain ranges, high desert, and agricultural valleys, with distinct regions connected by major highways and mountain passes.
• Population centers are arranged between the Pacific coast and the Cascade Range, where urban corridors transition into wooded foothills and open rural land within short driving distances.
• The climate varies by region, with mild, wet winters in western Oregon and drier conditions east of the Cascades, shaping daily routines and seasonal travel.
