Florida Eye Specialists is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Medical Retina Specialist to join our expanding team in Northeast Florida.

As a 100% physician-owned practice, Florida Eye Specialists is the largest subspecialty ophthalmology group in Northeast Florida, with approximately 30 physicians across 15 locations serving six counties. We are a patient-centered organization offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology, supported by highly experienced technicians and surgical staff.

Our practice provides comprehensive medical retina services, including the diagnosis and management of conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and other complex retinal pathologies. Physicians benefit from access to advanced imaging technologies, including OCT, fundus photography, and fluorescein angiography, as well as a high-volume injection clinic supported by a well-trained clinical team.

Our practice owns and operates the largest and busiest AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center in the region, featuring four operating rooms in addition to a dedicated femtosecond laser cataract suite. We also maintain strong partnerships with an extensive network of optometric and ophthalmic referral providers throughout North Florida and South Georgia.

This position will primarily provide coverage at our Fernandina Beach, Northside, and Palm Coast locations.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency

Medical Retina fellowship training preferred

ABO Board Certified or Board Eligible

Eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
