However, the candidate must be available to work rotating weekends, holidays and other shifts as needed by the department.Job SummaryThe Medical Lab Technician/UKHCwill be responsible for assisting in the pre-analytical support for a fast-paced academic medical center. The Laboratory provides services to all aspects of the Level I trauma center and throughout the healthcare enterprise, including solid organ and bone marrow transplant, Good Sam Hospital, KY Children's Hospital, and Markey Cancer Center.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesMultitasking, computer skills, customer service, troubleshooting, and ability to work independently or in a team.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
