A Collaborative Approach to Specialty Medicine
At MASH, internal medicine is at the heart of our multidisciplinary approach. You will work closely with emergency clinicians and other specialists to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.
Equally important, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with referring veterinarians. We prioritize clear communication, timely updates, and a shared commitment to patient outcomes.
You’ll be supported by:
- A collaborative team of ER doctors and specialists
- Critical care support available seven days a week
- Highly skilled technicians and support staff

Leadership that actively supports outreach and relationship-building with referring practices
Referral Relationships & Community Engagement
We view our referring veterinarians as true partners in patient care. As an internal medicine specialist at MASH, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with local primary care veterinarians
- Provide consultative support and case guidance
- Ensure seamless case transitions with thorough discharge communication
- Participate in continuing education events, case discussions, and community outreach
Help shape and grow our internal medicine service in alignment with community needs

Who We’re Looking For - DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or residency-trained in Internal Medicine (DACVIM or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills with a passion for client and colleague collaboration
- Commitment to building relationships within the veterinary community
