The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins (JH) University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a reproductive endocrinologist to serve as the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology. The successful applicant will lead a clinically active, collegial team of reproductive endocrinologists, reproductive endocrinology fellows, nurse practitioners, embryologists, including an on-site IVF lab director, andrologists, and a dedicated team of nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility has steadily expanded over the past several decades and now includes a new state-of-the-art clinic, an IVF laboratory, and an ambulatory surgery center. The JH Fertility Center has long provided multidisciplinary care to patients, maintaining strong relationships with providers across Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) to treat fertility-related issues such as fibroids, endometriosis, and gynecological and other cancers. The program performs in-hospital retrievals when medically necessary. The REI Division participates in multiple NIH-funded research studies and supports an accredited fellowship.
Requirements
The successful applicant should be a national/international leader in the field, be board-certified in REI, and have significant experience in clinical care, research, and education, as the individual will provide a strategic vision for continued growth in all these areas. The ideal applicant will meet the qualifications for appointment to the rank of Professor at Johns Hopkins University and be worthy of an endowed professorship.
