Cornea Specialist – Refractive Cataract Surgeon
The Position:
We are seeking a fellowship trained cornea specialist with strong cataract surgery skills. Refractive surgery skills are also highly desirable. Both practicing physicians and those entering fellowship July 2024 are encouraged to apply. Due to growth there will be more than one position available. The applicant will be expected to provide all aspects of cornea care and surgery. Applicant should be proficient in performing DSEK/DMEK, PKP and other corneal transplant techniques. Corneal Crosslinking experience is expected but applicant could be trained for this procedure. It’s expected the applicant will perform traditional phacoemulsification and femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery. The applicant is expected to be familiar with all Advanced Technology IOLs available and confident in their skill at educating patients effectively so patients choose advanced technology the majority of the time. There are no restrictions on the surgical or clinical interests of the applicant. The new surgeon will also provide general ophthalmology services. All physicians practice with technicians and scribes. All offices are integrated with EMR. The position offers an excellent compensation package with a very competitive base salary, a generous production bonus, an exceptional benefit package that includes paid vacation and CME allowance, contributions to the KEI Simple IRA, family medical insurance, medical malpractice insurance, license fees, and relocation expenses.
