Cardiology Opportunities, Prisma Health Heart & Vascular Institute - Blount County, TN  

Prisma Health Heart & Vascular Institute and Blount Memorial Hospital are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join our growing team and help meet the increasing demand for quality cardiovascular care in one of Blount County, Tennessee’s most rapidly expanding communities. Located at the foothills of the stunning Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Prisma Health Blount Memorial is a 304-bed acute care hospital in Maryville, Tennessee. Known as the "peaceful side of the Smokies," Blount County offers an abundance of outdoor activities including hiking, golfing, bicycling, tubing, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, and camping. Residents also enjoy shopping for local arts and crafts, as well as attending music festivals and community events.

Opportunities include: 

 General Cardiologists

• Join a well-established, integrated cardiology practice with dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
• Provide comprehensive general cardiology care across:
• Outpatient clinics
• Inpatient consultative services and invasive diagnostic testing
• Non-invasive diagnostic testing including echocardiography, nuclear testing and cardiac CT

 Interventional Cardiologists

• Join an established interventional cardiology program with dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, and a 24/7 STEMI program

• Work in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab featuring advanced technology, including:
• DFR, IVUS, and Shock Wave Intravascular Lithotripsy
• Benefit from advanced PACS/RIS systems and Perfect Serve for streamlined communication,  efficiency and care coordination

Required Skills:

•          Proficiency in reading echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests (shared rotation among cardiologists).
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Cardiac CT (not required but highly desirable).
