Phoenix Cardiac Surgery, PC, a hybrid private practice and academic group of 6 surgeons, is seeking a new graduate or early career BE/BC cardiothoracic surgeon with experience and interest in heart failure including LVAD/TAH, ECMO, and cardiac transplant. The practice offers the full spectrum of complex cardiac and thoracic surgical care in both an academic setting and community medical centers. We are the exclusive providers of cardiothoracic surgical services for Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix located in downtown Phoenix, AZ. A 750+ bed medical center which is the flagship hospital for the Banner Health organization.
Each of our surgeons has academic appointments with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and is actively involved in the training of medical students, general surgical residents, and cardiothoracic surgical fellows.
Despite our private practice platform, we are actively engaged in academic affairs that include highly sought after national IDE clinical trials and publications of scholarly work in numerous peer review journals.
The group has a long history of excellent mentorship of new graduates and early career surgeons to help them develop into mature and confident surgeons. We foster an environment that is both collegial and supportive of new associates.
Our medical center is tasked with treating the most complicated cardiac patients in the state of Arizona and beyond.
