The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida is seeking applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are recruiting across multiple areas, including Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Cornea, Glaucoma, Medical Director (all subspecialties welcome), and Optometry, to join our expanding, multi-specialty academic practice at the UF Health Eye Center.
These positions offer an immediate opportunity to develop a busy tertiary clinical practice within a well-established department, supported by a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to delivering exceptional patient care, faculty will have opportunities to engage in independent and collaborative research and contribute to innovative educational programs within a dynamic academic environment. Academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience. Requirements
Applicants must have completed an approved residency program and, if applicable, postgraduate fellowship training in their subspecialty. Board certification or eligibility, as well as eligibility for Florida medical licensure, are required.
