Aloha! Nephrology Opportunity on Kauai
Island Kidney Care (IKC) is seeking a full-time nephrologist to join our team on the beautiful island of Kauai. IKC is a division of Northwest Renal Clinic (NWRC)—a respected, physician-led practice of 27 nephrologists based in Portland, Oregon, with more than 40 years of experience providing comprehensive renal care. This structure gives you the best of both worlds—the autonomy and lifestyle of practicing on Maui or Kauai, backed by the resources and stability of a larger, well-established group.
IKC currently includes four physicians and three advanced practice providers serving patients across three Hawaiian islands—Maui, Kauai, and the Island of Hawaii. Practice Highlights
- 4-DAY WORK WEEK
- NO WEEKEND CALL
- Immediate and established patient base
- Primarily outpatient schedule

- Option to transfer to the mainland (Portland, OR) after commitment period
Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship in nephrology
- BC/BE in Nephrology
- Licensed (or able to obtain a license) in Hawaii
- 3+ years of experience
- Willingness to make a minimum 3-year commitment to the practice and community
